Paul Paré教授简介：

Paul Paré，男，1962年4月出生，博士、教授、博士生导师。1991年获德州大学奥斯汀分校(University of Texas at Austin)天然产物化学专业博士学位；1991-1999年先后在华盛顿州生物化学研究所、美国农业部农业研究所等机构从事博士后研究；1999-2010年先后担任德州理工大学化学与生物化学系助理教授和副教授，2011年至今担任该系教授。Paré教授的研究方向主要包括：Natural Products Chemistry of Plants; Plant Signal Transduction; Space Science Program；完成的科研项目主要包括：Chemical Elicitors Induce Plant Defense Responses；Bacterial Volatile Chemicals Trigger Plant Growth Promotion；Plant Carbon Allocation and Partitioning of Metabolites with Elevated CO₂ Conditions；Free-Radical Scavenging by Polyphenolic Flavonoid Compounds等。Paré博士已发表SCI论文100余篇，其中在Nature、PNAS等知名期刊发表论文多篇。另外，Paré教授一直在给本科生讲授《生物化学》、《分子生物化学》等课程，指导本科生参与科研实践。目前担任Plant Signaling and Behavior杂志副主编，Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences、Plant Physiology、Phytochemistry、Journal of Chemical Ecology、Journal of Food and Agricultural Chemistry等杂志审稿专家。
